Newport 2021: Late Summer Driver Ed Course 

Registration is now closed.  

                  

Course materials are to be picked up at the North Country Career Center parking lot near the main entrance on Saturday August 14th between 10:00 - 11:00am.

Important:

Mandatory Orientation - Tuesday, August 17th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm via online Zoom.

A parent or guardian must attend Orientation with students under 18

Class Dates: Tuesday & Wednesday Evenings Zoom.us online classes

August (17th-orientation 6-8pm)

August 18, 24, 25, 31

Sept. 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29

Oct. 5, (6th- makeup tests for those that need it)

Class Time:

4:30 -6:30pm Tuesday & Wednesday Evenings via Zoom

Tentative Drive Slots: 

(to reduce the chance of covid transmission only one student will be in the car at a time)

One group of students will drive Thursdays only.

One group of students will drive Fridays only.

August 19, 26

Sept. (2nd-off) 9, 16, 23, 30

Oct. 7

Dates for Friday Drivers:

August 20, 27

Sept. (3rd-off) 10, 17, 24

Oct. 1, 8

All drive slots are now full.  Registration closed.

State Road Exams for those eligible on Tuesday, October 12th.

Tuition: $800

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to make a reservation.

 

Will include a pre-vehicle use impairing substance drug screening

​

The balance is due ($600) on August 14th when you pick up the course materials.  Checks should be made out to Precision Driver Training School.
